We're currently using flake8, mypy, and black.

Suggested steps:

• Are the strandards employed appropriate?
• Are they documented sufficiently (README, CONTRIBUTING, etc.)?
• Are they being enforced in CI pipelines?
• Are they being checked in pre-commit hooks?
